Hi everyone!
How was your Thanksgiving? Yep, ours was good, too. Still feeling a wee bit bloated? Yeah, us, too. But, it was worth it, don't you think? We do :)
So let me give you the run-down from our long holiday weekend.
We kicked things off on Wednesday -- Thanksgiving Eve -- by hosting our good friends Emily and Amy over for dinner and a few intense games of Blokus. Photos from the evening are here. Basically, Dave entertained our friends while I cuddled their dogs, Georgia and Bohdi, that they brought along. To say that I have puppy fever would be a gross understatement. Speaking of dogs, I have to mention one of our new favorite TV shows, The Dog Whisperer. If you have the National Geographic Channel, you absolutely must check it out.
We celebrated Thanksgiving at our friends Mike and Kelly Grace's home. They were gracious enough to host us and other Seattle 'transplants.' There was lots of food, of course, and lots of wine, noisy kids, and good cheer.
Black Friday around here was actually sunny and clear. We loaded up in Sally and explored a new park on Mercer Island: Island Crest Park. Lots of energy burned :)
Dave worked hard Saturday and Sunday to hang our exterior Christmas lights and I worked on our photos and website. Tonight we will hang more Christmas decorations and probably do some birthday shopping!
